Riyadh – Mubasher: SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company has announced the extension of its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), a global agri-food investment company and a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

The extension agreement specifies that the partnership will continue for an additional three years beyond its current scheduled expiration, according to a bourse filing.

SABIC Agri-Nutrients clarified that the existing MoU was set to expire on 1 March 2026. By agreeing to this extension, both SABIC Agri-Nutrients and SALIC have demonstrated a mutual commitment to long-term planning and operational stability.

A central feature of this extension is that all previous terms and conditions governing the relationship between the two parties will remain in effect.

Accordingly, this consistency allows both entities to focus on their core objectives without the need for renegotiating the fundamental aspects of their cooperation.

By combining the technical expertise of SABIC Agri-Nutrients in fertilizers and crop nutrition with the extensive investment portfolio of SALIC in the agricultural and livestock sectors, the partnership is positioned to address complex global and domestic challenges.

In terms of financial reporting, SABIC Agri-Nutrients stated that the extension of the MoU does not carry a material financial impact at this present time. This assessment is crucial for investors monitoring the company’s capital allocation and operational costs.

However, SABIC Agri-Nutrients has maintained a forward-looking stance, stating that it will continue to monitor the progress of the partnership. Should any significant financial developments or material changes occur as a result of this cooperation, the company has pledged to provide further disclosures in a timely manner, ensuring that the market remains fully informed of any changes to its financial or operational status.
